Project Presentations for 2023-2024 Senior Seminar Students
March 18th & 19th - Nogales High School - 8:30 to 12:00 p.m.
March 20 - Rowland High School High School - 8:30 to 12:00 p.m.
The presentations will be held in the District Office Board Room.
Career Certification Program students design and complete a project that demonstrates advanced knowledge related to their area of specialization. They prepare an oral presentation of their project and present it to a panel of judges for review.
During the Project Presentations, the panel of judges will give feedback to the students in the following areas:
Presentation Skills
- Professional appearance
- Body language and voice demonstrate confidence
- Proper language and vocabulary
- Shows enthusiasm
- Degree of contribution by each team member
- Confidence in answering questions
Content
- Information appears accurate/reasonable
- Depth of content knowledge evident
- Information is understandable to the evaluator
- Organized sequentially
Visuals
- Visuals have a specific purpose
- Quality of visuals used
- Size of visuals appropriate to the audience
