CTE Graduation Requirements
To graduate, all Rowland USD students must take two (2) courses, twenty elective credits, from the same CTE Career Pathway. This includes an introductory and an advanced level course. (See Board Policy 6146.1 - College and Career Indicator)
Rowland Unified offers students 15 career pathways from 8 industry sectors. These pathways can lead to careers that are high-wage and in high-demand. The pathway courses are up-to-date with the changes by the industry by consulting an advisory board of local professionals currently employed in the industry.

Rowland Unified Board Policy 6146.1
College and Career Indicator Requirement
To meet the California College and Career Indicator expectations, Rowland students may apply twenty (20) or more elective credits of the student's choice within a single Career Pathway. It is required that students select courses at the introductory and advanced levels within the same Pathway. Students shall identify their selected Career Pathway no later than the beginning of their sophomore year. Certification Programs/Career Pathways include Arts, Media and Entertainment, Computer Science, Education and Child Development, Engineering, Construction and Transportation, Finance and Marketing, Hospitality, Human Science and Medical Technology, and Public Services.
