About Us

On December 21, 2021, Rocky Bettar, Rowland Unified's Director of Adult Education and Career Preparation passed in the comfort of his home, with his family nearby. Before his passing, Rocky built his career and stellar reputation as the "go to" man in CTE and Adult Education. He was well known throughout the education community in the state of California.  
Rocky developed the national award winning Career Pathways Program at Rowland Unified in 1992.  He worked tirelessly, with passion and fire, to ensure that his both high school and adult students had the classes and services to transform their lives. He was active statewide and considered one of the foremost experts on Career Technical Education and adult education policy.
We will never forget Rocky and his passion for life and education.  
We miss you Rocky, you will always be in our hearts.

Business and community leaders can help high school students learn how to “network” and practice their presentation skills by attending the twenty-sixth annual “Virtual Connections to the Future” event on Tuesday, November 9 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
